Born on October 10, 1985, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla grew up in a family that valued discipline and education . He attended City Montessori School and, against the backdrop of his sister’s wedding, secretly sat for the NDA exam in 2001—a sign of his early determination . He later earned a BSc from NDA and an MTech in Aerospace Engineering from IISc Bengaluru .
