This unique lingam features a relief of Lord Shiva standing atop Apasmara, symbolizing the triumph over ignorance.
Carved from a dense, dark brown local stone, the lingam stands over five feet tall. Excavations in 1973 unearthed artifacts from the 2nd or 3rd century AD, including Black and Redware sherds and large-sized bricks from the Andhra Satavahana period, underscoring the site’s historical significance.
