In January 2025, Jake Barber, a U.S. Air Force veteran, publicly claimed to have witnessed an egg-shaped, “nonhuman” aircraft while participating in a covert government program tasked with retrieving unidentified flying objects (UFOs).

This revelation follows earlier claims by David Grusch, another former Air Force officer, who in June 2023 alleged that the U.S. government has been operating a highly secretive UFO retrieval program since the 1940s.
